Richard Ford

Richard Ford, born in 1944 in Jackson, Mississippi, is considered one of the greatest contemporary American writers. With Independence Day (1995; Feltrinelli, 1996), he won the two most prestigious American literary awards, the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Pulitzer Prize. Feltrinelli has also published: Rock Springs (1989), Wildlife (1991), The Sportswriter (1992), The Womanizer (1993), Women with Men (2001), A Multitude of Sins (2002), The Lay of the Land (2008), Canada (2013), winner of the 2013 Prix Femina, Let Me Be Frank with You (2015), finalist for the 2015 Pulitzer Prize, Between Them (2017), and Sorry for Your Trouble (2021). In 2016, he was awarded the Princess of Asturias Award for Literature.
