Manuel Vilas

Born in Barbastro, Spain, in 1962, he is a poet, novelist, and essayist. He has worked as a literature teacher and regularly contributes to El País and ABC Cultural. His novel Ordesa (2018) has been translated into over twenty languages. He was a finalist for the Premio Planeta with Alegría (2019) and won the Premio Nadal in 2023 with Nosotros. He lives between Madrid and Zaragoza.
