





Gabriele Salvatores, born in Naples in 1950, is a film director and screenwriter. After his early career at the Teatro dell’Elfo, he made his cinematic debut with Dream of a Summer Night (1983). He directed generational films such as Marrakech Express (1989) and Turné (1990), and won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film with Mediterraneo (1991). His other films include Nirvana (1997), Amnèsia (2002), I’m Not Scared (2003), As God Commands (2008), The Invisible Boy (2014), and All My Crazy Love (2019).
