Alongside her husband Dante Ferretti she conquered Hollywood with her set designs. After six nominations, she won the Oscar for Best Production Design with Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator in 2005, with Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd in 2008 and with Hugo, again with Scorsese, in 2012.
