Nadia Terranova
Italian writer. Her literary debut came in 2015 with the novel Gli anni al contrario, which was well received by critics and earned her the Bagutta Opera Prima, the Brancati award, and the Bridge Book Award, given to Italian books deemed worthy of translation in the United States. Addio fantasmi, her second novel, was chosen for the Strega Prize in 2018 and subsequently adapted for the stage. Active in children's literature since 2011, she was nominated for the Strega Ragazzi Award in 2019 for her book Omero รจ stato qui, and she won the Andersen Award in 2021 for Il segreto. She has a column in Vanity Fair and her most recent novel, Trema la notte, came out in 2022.
