Writer, he lives in Potenza, where he was born. Among other works he published: Febbre, in 1989, Mestieri sentimentali (1991), Errori (1996), Parenti lontani (2008), that earned him the John Fante prize for fiction, La vedova, il Santo e il segreto del Pacchero estremo (2008), that earned him the Ernest Hemingway prize, and Quanto sei cool. Piccola guida ai capricci del gusto (2017). His stories appeared in several Italian magazines and newspapers. In 2011 Corriere della Sera published L'Ombra del falco obeso in the prestigious series “Inediti d’autore”.
