Chiara Gamberale
Born in Rome, she made her literary debut in 1996 with the novel Una vita sottile (Marsilio). Her career went on with Color lucciola (Marsilio, 2001), Arrivano i pagliacci (Bompiani, 2002), La zona cieca (Bompiani, 2008), that earned her the Campiello award, Le luci nelle case degli altri (Mondadori, 2010), Adesso (Feltrinelli, 2016) and Come il mare in un bicchiere (Feltrinelli, 2020), among others. In 2014 she wrote with Massimo Gramellini the bestselling novel Avrò cura di te (Longanesi). A novel of hers has been adapted for screen as Passione sinistra, directed by Marco Ponti (2013). As a TV host she worked with Luciano Rispoli in Parola mia (Rai3). In radio she hosted Io, Chiara e lo scuro (Radio2).
