Luigi Guarnieri
Born in Catanzaro, he’s a novelist, playwright and radio author. He made his debut in 2000 with the essay L’atlante criminale – vita scriteriata di Cesare Lombroso (Mondadori). In 2001 he wrote Tenebre sul Congo (Mondadori), which was followed by La doppia vita di Vermeer (Mondadori, 2004), La sposa ebrea (Rizzoli, 2006) and I sentieri del cielo (Rizzoli, 2008), that tracks the history of banditry repression in Calabria during the aftermath of the unification of Italy and earned him the premio Grinzane Cavour. In 2010 came out Una strana storia d’amore (Rizzoli), then Il sosia di Hitler (Mondadori, 2014) and Forsennatamente mr. Foscolo (La nave di Teseo, 2018).
