Greta Gerwig
Actress, playwright, screen-writer and director. She started starring and co-writing several mumblecore films. Between 2006 and 2009 she partake in some Joe Swamberg movies. In 2010 she begun a proficuous cooperation with director Noah Baumbach, in movies like Greenberg (2010), Frances Ha (2012), for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination, and Mistress America (2015). She also took part to other international movies as To Rome with Love, by Woody Allen, and Mike Mills’ 20th Century Women, for which she was nominated for a Critic’s Choice Award as best supporting actress. In 2017 she wrote and directed her first movie, Lady Bird, that gathered a warm welcome by critics and audiences, won a Golden Globe as best picture and got two Academy Award nominations, for best director and best original screenplay, and a BAFTA nomination for best director. In 2019 she’s been working at her second movie as a director, Little Women.
